Who is able to live at Danielle Inn?

Answer:
Pregnant women from 18-40 years old who are single/estranged and need help to successfully care for their unborn child.

Question:
What services do you provide?

Answer:
We provide a loving family atmosphere that includes family activities and outings, church, Bible study, nutritional meals, prenatal care, counseling, information about parenting and placing for adoption, life skills training, household skills, employment skills, continued education opportunities and goal settings.

Where are you located?

Answer:
The Inn is located on the north side of Covington, LA

Question:
How do I begin the process of coming to live at Danielle Inn?

Answer:
You can complete our online application or contact us directly at 985/898-3559. Upon reviewing your application you will be contacted

Question:
How much does it cost to live at the Inn?

Answer:
Danielle Inn is not funded by the Federal Government. Through generous monthly support of private citizens, we are able to provide our services free of charge. However, families are encouraged to help cover the cost according to their ability to pay. No one is turned away because of their inability to pay.

Question:
How long is the interview process?

Answer:
You should set aside a few hours to meet with our Social Worker and staff to provide us with more information based on your answers to the questions on your application. You will also be able to tour our facility and ask us any questions that you may have. After this process, we should be able to notify you shortly about acceptance into our Residency Program. 

Question:
What about adoption?

Answer:
Danielle Inn provides both parenting classes and adoption classes. The choice to parent or place your baby for adoption is yours.

Question:
I already have a child. Can I bring him/her with me?

Answer:
Danielle Inn is licensed as a maternity home only. We are unable to house children.

How long is the Residency Program?
Answer:
There are three Length of Stay tracks that you can choose from:
(1) Pregnancy + 6 weeks
(2) Pregnancy + 3 months
(3) Pregnancy + 6 months up to your baby's 1st birthday
